Lock your photo away for an hour, day or any length of time.
Securely store a photo of anything on your phone and then only see it at a future date and time. Or, have your friend store a photo on your phone and set a future date and time for you, they can also set advanced options.
App features:
You, or your friend, store items (food, keys, cash, cards, codes) in a box and lock with a combination lock.
Solo play: You set a new randomised code on the combination lock and without looking take a photo using the app, you set the future date and time, press start, and wait until the photo and code are unlocked in the future.
1. Put items in a container that has a combination lock, or a container that can be locked with a combination padlock, or lock a combination padlock on anything else.
2. Set the date and time.
3. Randomise the combination.
4. Take a photo with the app (squint your eyes so you don’t see the numbers).
5. Press start and then wait for the time to expire.
6. When the time expires open the app and the photo to get the code.
7. Unlock the combination lock and get your items out of the container.
Friend play: Your trusted friend sets a code on the combination lock and takes a photo using the app on your phone, they set a future date and time and press start. You then wait until the photo is unlocked to see the code.
1. Put items in a container that has a combination lock, or a container that can be locked with a combination padlock.
2. Your trusted friend sets the date and time and advanced options on your phone.
3. Your friend sets the combination code (and may keep a record of it, so you can ask them for it).
4. Your friend takes a photo with the app on your phone, may set advanced options (see below), presses start, and hands you back your phone.
5. You wait for the time to expire.
6. Your friend can edit the advanced options if you allow them.
7. When the time expires you open the app and the photo to get the code.
8. Unlock the combination lock and get your items out of the container.
More details:
Master settings: If your friend sets a master passcode they can change the date, time and other settings at anytime, they can also unlock the photo early if they feel kind. They may choose to lock master settings, in which case you and your friend can only wait for the time to expire.
Early release: If you are desperate to access the photo and code early you can choose to quit, but this comes at a penalty cost you set for yourself or which your friend sets for you.
Delay time: if you wish to extend the time after the session has started, you can do so in hourly intervals. Or your friend can do this for you.
Advanced options:
These require a keyholder master passcode, set the passcode before starting the session and then set the advanced options:
- Peak early: if your friend has set a peak early penalty, the time will be extended if you try to see the photo before the time has expired.
- Show time: if your friend is being super mean, when you peak to see the photo you will not know how long to wait if they hide the time.
- Alarm sound: Sound an alarm/notification to your phone when the time expires.
- Extend time interval: Change the extend interval from 1 hour to 2 hours or more.
- Show thumbnail: show a small blurred thumbnail of the photo when you peak.
- Penalty cost: you or your friend sets the early release penalty from 1 to 1000 credits.
- Random extra: add extra time between 0% and 100% when the session is started.
Random options:
- If playing solo, you can randomise the advanced options before you start. Will the alarm sound, will extra time be added, will the thumbnail or peak penalty be set? How much will the early release penalty be? How long is the extend time interval?
